IMPORTANT! Due to the fact that many of our members are enjoying the beautiful Florida sun and going on summer vacation(s); the Taco Del Mar Cruises will be suspended. We will have a new meet location and time posted come the first week of July. Also, Tony had surgury the first week of May and is still recovering. We hope to see him feeling well soon. The Club was founded in April of 2009. Its mission is to unite Volkswagen owners, enthusiast, and the community of charlotte Florida together. Founded by Tony and Cathy Silva, "CHVWC" is a relatively new yet growing club. In 2009 The club hosted 2 Volkswagen only Car Shows. The first was held in June 2009 and the second was held October of 09. Both were located at the Charlotte Honda and Volkswagen Car Dealer. Members of the club have also traveled the state and have participated in other Volkswagen only events. Notable ones include Pasco County Bug Jam and Jingle Bug Rocks in Old Town Kissimee. The club members help one another with mechanical trouble shooting, restoration, and are much like a family.
